The Caiman we offer is species crocodilus fuscus, and is sourced from Colombia. These are the colors we do have in stock. Caiman are a great alternative to traditional alligator and crocodile skins with a similar reptilian appearance. It is one of the most popular luxury leathers for shoes, belts, handbags, wallets, and luggage. Our skins are 20% larger than our competitors because of a variation in the grading system. We offer both a belly cut and a hornback. The belly skin cost is calculated by measuring across the widest part of the belly in centimeters and paying per centimeter. Our belly skins range from 17cm-34cm. Typically hornbacks are less expensive, but have the same cost system.
